Stop Police Brutality March & Rally- DTLA

Happy Monday. This past Saturday October 22, 2011 was the 16th Annual National Day of Protest to Stop Police Brutality held in down town Los Angeles. I had the chance to shoot this march and rally a few years back when I was in college and was very intrigued by the passion so many individuals had on this very important and serious issue. The march started at Pershing Square and was led by family members of those who's lives were taken by police brutality and followed by those who were there to take a stand. Those from Occupy LA also joined in the march against police brutality. Since Saturday afternoon was free for me, I decided to head to down town Los Angeles to document the march. Along the way they made a quick pitstop at the Rampart police station and then headed to MacArthur Park for the rally.
