The other day I helped my friends move into their new spot.

Throwback Photos

So I have been fortunate enough to be able to go on some amazing trips. Since I am very much so into photography, I figured I would share some photos from a trip I went on to South Africa a few years back. It was an amazing experience (aside from the plane ride. Nearly 24 hours in the air! but would totally do it again) and wish I would have had a few more weeks to take in everything there is to see in South Africa but none-the-less I was able to capture some amazing photographs. One of my favorite parts of the trip was being able to go through a township, so many of the images included are from that part of my trip.

I truly love raw documentary style photography and black and white images always capture the true essence of what is being photographed.

Here's exactly what the event is about-The SoCal Youth Takeover Festival was developed as a charity fundraiser to empower local youth with a community event that gives them an outlet to enjoy a variety of activities in a safe and fun venue while raising funds for local non-profit organizations.  Teens of all ages, families, and community members are invited to enjoy a variety of attractions including food, games, live music, vendors, giveaways, a fashion show, a $500 grand prize poetry slam contest, a $1000 grand prize dance contest and an incredible concert line-up with surprise celebrity appearances as well as educational and informational booths. Our purpose is to educate, embrace, support and celebrate the Southern California youth and young adult initiative while partnering with several local non-profit youth organizations to create awareness and bond community ties with a fun and peaceful event.  Giving our teens an outlet to have positive new experiences to broaden their outlook on life, while dispensing educational information in a nonintrusive way with our charity organizations is a great way to lift our community.  (info provide by ytofestival.com)

Looking for trouble with Collage...

Yesterday ran around Downtown LA looking for trouble with a good friend of ours/up and coming music producer "Collage"
(Above Image) Collage Demostrating the tourist point.

So this is what hope looks like...

We Stopped by Bridgette's Favorite Boba Spot for lunch URTH CAFFE...

As soon as I got our number I knew it was going to be the GREATEST LUNCH EVER!!!!

I just got into watches and I must say Collage was rockin a cold one (Kenneth Cole)

After lunch we found exactly what we were looking for TROUBLE!!!

For the record we only bought 1 donut and split it ...ok maybe 2...ok maybe 2 apiece..

After that I took Collage to check out that Banksy piece on Compton and I can't remember the other street name, sorry.

DOPE!!!!!

The only thing that bothers me is that someone tried to damage it, look close...why can't we just let art live.

The Ivorys Hit the Streets

Since this last weekend was suppose to  be "Carmageddon" we decided to hit the streets and take public transpo downtown to check out the "Renegade Craft Fair" but decided to sight see for a bit along the way.

Since  it was such a nice day Sunday and we heard the 405 opened early we decided to head outdoors. They got that bridge built amazingly fast. Couldn't have asked for a better day.
