The Ivorys Hit SF for Thread Show

So this past weekend The Ivorys hit SF for Thread Show and it definitely was a worthwhile trip. Although it rained a bit we didn't let that stop us! We had the chance to catch up with some Nor Cal friends, ended up in the middle of an Occupy Rally in Oakland and the next day at Thread met some real cool people who stopped by The Ivorys booth as well as some very talented designers. Check out some photos from our trip to SF.

On our way up to SF.

Visiting with our good friend the night before Thread who lives in Oakland, we found ourselves in the middle of an Occupy Oakland protest where the protestors decided to take over a vacant lot in the middle of downtown Oakland. Wish I would have had more time to capture the protest.

Check out a few of the people who stopped by The Ivorys booth to show some love.

The rain stopped for a bit and was able to capture an amazing rainbow over the city.

We had the chance to meet some really great independent designers- Faze Apparel, Refuse Routine, One True Soul and Fahmina.

Our Lovely Thread Show neighbor Fahmina is a very talented artist who makes very cool accessories out of leather. Make sure you check out her online store.

The Ivorys had such an amazing time up in SF. We are excited to be apart of Thread Show SF the next time around.
